The Union of Students at the University of Derby exists to represent all students, ensuring they have access to the most amazing opportunities and have the best possible experience whilst studying at the University.

We’re committed to offering students fantastic opportunities to meet new people and socialise (particularly at the start of their university journey, with a massive Freshers programme), express themselves and their identity, join a vibrant student community and fulfil their potential.

Whether students are looking for activities such as sports clubs, societies and student media – or representation, volunteering opportunities, employability, or advice, we’re available throughout their studies.
