From the city’s historic Cathedral Quarter to the hidden Cathedral of the Peak – Tideswell – there are so many but, I’m going to say Normanton Road – a vibrant, chaotic, diverse, cacophony of enterprise – the world in a street!

I was born in Derby and grew up in a village just outside the city. I went to university in London before returning to Derby to work as a reporter at the Derby Telegraph.
