Wildlife Trust showcase seeks enlightening support
Derbyshire Wildlife Trust is planning a special 60 year anniversary AGM with a Wilder Derby interactive day to showcase its vision for Derby.
The event will be held on Saturday 8th of October (10:30-4:00pm) at The Museum of Making at Derby Silk Mill and will include talks from key speakers and experts on how to achieve a Wilder Derby.
Participants can enjoy activities including:

A brief minibus ride for a guided walk around Allestree park with the Derby Park Rangers who will explain proposed plans for the park;
A hidden nature photography competition exhibition.

The Trust wants this event to be as impactful and as memorable as possible and would like to create a digital nature-based light show which will be projected onto Derby Cathedral and will attract public and media attention. Some money has been raised to support this high-profile project but the Trust still needs an additional £11,280 committed by August 31st.
The Trust is seeking financial sponsorship from local businesses, who will see their names up in lights!
