Views sought on draft budget proposals

Marketing Derby Bondholders are being urged to take part in a consultation on East Midlands Combined County Authority’s draft budget proposals.

Just before Christmas, EMCCA’s board met to discuss and approve its draft spending plans for 2025-26, which aim to make the biggest impact on residents, businesses and partners.

Now, it is seeking the views of stakeholders across the region on the proposals.

The feedback gathered during the consultation, which closes on 20 January, will be reflected in the final budget report that will go to EMCCA’s board, led by the Mayor of the East Midlands Claire Ward, for its meeting in February.

Stakeholders are being asked to comment on the proposed areas of investment in the EMCCA budget – and whether there are any other areas not captured in proposed budget, which should be included.
