Derby-based training provider Althaus Digital has made a series of new films celebrating its work with Sort Group to address the digital skills gap.

The films shine a spotlight on a number of case studies, offering the prospective of both the employer and the apprentices.

Althaus Digital , which an Ofsted Grade 1 Outstanding Training provider based on Pride Park, sources and develops talent with a focus on digital and IT skills.

It works with employers both large and small – and trains individuals at the start of their careers to experienced professionals – to help bridge the digital skills gap.

The case studies highlight how Althaus helped scale-up Sort Group’s digital infrastructure team, by taking on apprentices.

In one of the films, Matthew Ewers, chief information officer at Sort Group, explains how the firm got in touch with Althaus and started working together.

And in some of the other films, the apprentices themselves speak about how they have benefitted.

In a statement, Althaus said: “Our aim is to become the UK’s number one digitally focused talent solutions provider, leading the way with a fresh approach to training to uncover the digital leaders of tomorrow.

“We do this by ensuring that both individuals and employers have the skills and resources needed to thrive, both now and in the future.

“It’s our mission to unleash the digital leaders of tomorrow by ensuring that learners, candidates, and employers have the skills and resources needed to thrive.

“We want to lead the way in sourcing and developing well-rounded digital leaders of the future, equipped with the powerful combination of leadership skills and cutting-edge technical know-how needed to succeed and add real value to their organisation.”

The new films, initially created to mark National Apprenticeship Week last month, have now been uploaded to the Althaus Digital website.
