Time running out for innovation grant support

The University of Derby has said time is running out to apply for grants through the Derby Innovation Accelerator Project.

The Derby Innovation Accelerator Capital Grants Fund provides funding to organisations that are looking to make capital purchases or decarbonisation changes.

The fund is now entering its final stages for applications – and interested organisations are being urged to get in touch before 15 November to guarantee support.

In terms of eligibility, organisations must be based in the Derby city area and be looking to make innovative changes to the workplace.

This could include purchasing machinery, undertaking research and development work, increasing efficiencies, or investing in more carbon friendly machinery, solar panel installation and  purchasing energy efficient machinery.

The funding support ends in March 2025, with all purchases required to be completed prior to this date.
