The latest Bondholder appointments and promotions
Flint Bishop, Yappl, Precept and Hardy Signs are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.
Law firm Flint Bishop has announced a series of senior promotions, amid a period of solid business performance and strategic expansion.
Angela Davis has been promoted to partner and head of family and matrimonial, Mark Wilcock, has been made corporate and finance partner, Briony McDermott, becomes employment partner and Sam Balmbra now assumes the role of senior associate in the wills, probate, tax and trusts team.
Qamer Ghafoor, chief executive at Flint Bishop, said: “I am extremely passionate about creating a platform for our people to progress within the firm and take responsibility for projects and areas of work that really excite them.
“It is excellent to see staff achieve long term careers with the firm in line with the leadership team’s growth ambitions.”
Business communications firm Yappl has announced some significant developments within its leadership team.
It has promoted James Bannister from solutions director to managing director.
It has also appointed James Sisson as head of marketing and Joe Butler as head of finance.
James Bannister has been instrumental in the company’s success, particularly Yappl’s expansion into unified communication solutions.
He said: “I’m excited to lead the next phase of Yappl’s development.
“Maintaining customer excellence, delivering growth for ourselves and our partners in a marketplace ripe with opportunity.”
James Sisson brings 10 years of marketing and brand management experience, developed within the telecoms industry, while Joe joins Yappl with 20 years of experience in financial management and accounting.
Award-winning HR and employment company Precept has continued its growth by adding Mark Honeybell as its head of client services.
His appointment brings the number of members at the Mansfield Road business – part of the Barron McCann group of companies – to seven.
Director and co-owner Rob Tice said: “We have gone through a huge period of growth over the last 18 months at Precept and we are delighted to welcome Mark to the team; we are now one of the largest HR and employment law teams in the East Midlands.
“Mark brings with him a wealth of experience and we are looking forward to another busy year at Precept.”
Finally, Hardy Signs has promoted Blu Hardy to the role of marketing manager.
The firm, which provides bespoke signage solutions, was founded by her father, Nik Hardy, in 1993.
With a background in film production and screenwriting, Blu has played an integral role in shaping Hardy Signs’ brand identity and marketing strategy.
She said: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity. It’s been a stellar year for Hardy Signs, as we celebrated our 30th anniversary last summer with themed social media campaigns and events to mark the occasion.
“With a deep understanding of the company’s values, I am committed to upholding our reputation to ensure we remain at the forefront of the signage industry.”
