Vibrant Accountancy, Sellick Partnership, Flint Bishop and Nielsen McAllister are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.

Vibrant Accountancy has welcomed two new faces to its expanding team: Dawn Ford, who takes on the role of client manager, and Hana Chatwin, who joins as one of the company’s two new associate directors.

Senior client manager Amie Fellows has upped her existing role to become Vibrant’s other associate director.

Founder Bev Wakefield said: “I’m delighted to welcome Dawn and Hana to the Vibrant team and Amie to her new associate director role.

“It’s an exciting time for Vibrant as we prepare some exciting new projects this year, all with the aim of continuing to support business owners to run successful enterprises by understanding their numbers and helping make Derby and Derbyshire a great place to live and work.”

Sellick Partnership, which has offices in Derby, has announce the appointment of Greg Jones, who joins the business to spearhead a brand-new office in Birmingham.

This strategic expansion will further develop the recruitment company’s IT and technology public sector offering, with a primary focus across the Midlands and South regions.

Chief executive Hannah Cottam said: “We couldn’t be happier to welcome Greg to Sellick Partnership at such an exciting time for our business.

“His experience and leadership will be instrumental in driving our public sector IT offering forward and strengthening our presence.

Law firm Flint Bishop has appointed Brinder Vijsir as head of technology innovation.

The firm said the addition reinforces its commitment to harnessing technological advancements to enhance operational efficiency, client service delivery and business operations.

Brinder joins Flint Bishop from Simply Conveyancing Property Lawyers, where he spent four years as head of technology change, leading digital transformation and IT strategy.

Prior to this, he spent over 20 years at Simplify, holding a number of roles, most recently serving as group senior business analyst.

Qamer Ghafoor, chief executive at Flint Bishop, said: “Brin’s appointment is a pivotal moment in the firm’s technological evolution.

“His extensive expertise in leading strategic technology change will be crucial in shaping and executing our technology strategy.”

Finally, PR and communications agency Nielsen McAllister has hired two full-time team members after successfully completing their PR apprenticeships, reinforcing the agency’s commitment to developing industry talent.

Alice Blackwell joins as an account executive after gaining her diploma in PR and communications from the Public Relations and Communications Association

Meanwhile, Rory Hay has stepped into a full-time role following the completion of his digital marketing apprenticeship at Nielsen McAllister, supported by local training provider Althaus Digital.

Simon Wildash, managing director at Nielsen McAllister said, “It’s a pleasure to welcome Alice to the team and to see Rory complete his apprenticeship after 18 months’ of studies with us.

“His progression within the agency is another example of our commitment to nurturing talent through both structured apprenticeship programs and providing opportunities for recent graduates.

“We hope they both have successful and long careers with us and become the future leaders of our industry.”
