Flint Bishop and Howden Insurance are among the latest Marketing Derby Bondholders to announce new appointments in recent weeks.

Law firm Flint Bishop has announced a raft of new appointments, starting with Stacey Cox, who has joined as head of its employment team.

Stacey, who previously worked with Flint Bishop as an employment partner, brings 20 years of experience advising employers and employees across all areas of employment law.

Her impressive career includes leading employment law teams at Elliot Mather LLP and Wake Smith Solicitors, founding SFT Consulting Limited, and most recently serving as a partner at Gunnercooke.

Qamer Ghafoor, chief executive at Flint Bishop, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stacey back to Flint Bishop at this pivotal time for the firm.

“As we continue to invest in top talent and deliver market-leading services to our clients, Stacey’s deep expertise and leadership capabilities will significantly strengthen our employment team and position us for further growth.”

Flint Bishop has also expanded the leadership team in its debt services division, making a trio of senior appointments as it seeks to further enhance the firm’s capabilities in the UK’s energy and utilities sector.

Andrew Mitchell joins as head of operations, bringing over 25 years of experience in debt management within the utilities industry.

Helen Carey has been appointed senior associate and operations manager – litigation, bringing a wealth of experience in debt recovery and commercial litigation.

And Matthew Tongue completes the trio of appointments, joining as senior team leader in litigation.

Mr Ghafoor said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew, Helen, and Matthew to the team.

“Their blend of strategic leadership, operational expertise, and hands-on experience in operations, collections, and service delivery and will play a pivotal role as we plan to further enhance our capabilities in the UK’s residential water and energy sectors.”

Howden Insurance has also welcomed a trio of new arrivals to its Derby team.

Candice Phillips and Cerrie Tomlin have joined the firm as senior account handlers, while Chris Devitt has been appointed as account executive.

Combined, these three experienced insurance brokers bring over 50 years of industry insight and specialist knowledge to Howden’s Derby office.

“Their expertise, experience and passion for providing excellent advice and service to clients is going to be a real asset to Howden.
