Tech firm makes smart switch to accountancy firm
Vibrant Accountancy firm has announced it has added IT Infrastructures and smart building technology specialists Scenariio to its expanding list of clients.
The firm, which has its offices in Lodge Lane, is working with Scenariio; the city-based company that provides IT services and smart building solutions to many blue-chip accounts.
Vibrant, which is owned by Bev Wakefield, has helped Scenariio with its move to cloud-based service Xero.
In return, Scenariio is assisting Vibrant with making their headquarters more efficient.
Rob Pritchard, managing director of Scenariio, said: “It was a big decision to move our accounts to Vibrant Accountancy, but Bev and the team have made the move seamless.
“Vibrant are very personable. Like us, they are a growing business and have ambition. We share the same vision and I like that Bev thinks outside of the box.
“Following conversations with Bev, we have identified ways to improve the efficiency of Vibrant by installing a sensor network and smart thermostatic valves that will provide data to drive business efficiency and reduce energy consumption.”
Founded a decade ago, Scenariio specialises in data cabling, wireless solutions, sensor technology and intelligent lighting that can save thousands of pounds a year.
It has teams of engineers working across the UK and nine members of staff at its Derby headquarters.
Rob said: “We can help transform workspaces so that they boost efficiency, productivity and are more cost-effective.
“The demand to make workplaces more energy-efficient is an ongoing issue and we all need to play a part in reducing our carbon footprint.
“We’re hoping to grow over the next 12 months as demand for our services increases and although we work with companies all over the UK, Derby is our home and we’re always keen to work with businesses – like Vibrant – who are home-grown.”
Bev said: “We are super excited to be working with a truly ambitious company, one making such an impact on a global scale.”
