Derby County Community Trust has teamed up with Mount Cook Adventure Centre to organise a team challenge, which will raise funds to support its work.

The Trust Team Challenge is a corporate team building day for the business community, which will take place at the adventure centre on Friday, 28 April, from 9am to 3pm.

The aim of the day is to bring businesses from across Derbyshire together in a fun competitive environment that will allow them to develop their own team’s capabilities through ‘The Power of Three Challenge’.

Teams, which can be made up of three to six members, will focus on three areas – Activity, Adventure and Acumen.

Team must aim to complete three challenges within each area, testing their ability to think laterally, to cope physically and to rationalise their fears.

Now, Marketing Derby Bondholders are being encouraged to sign up and take part, while raising money for a good cause.

Pete Collins, business development manager at Derby County Community Trust, said “The Trust Team Challenge is the perfect way for a business to step away from their desks, get out into the Peak District and enjoy a team-based challenge, while also raising vital funds, which will support the work of DCCT in our local communities.”

Bromley Sibson, from Mount Cook Adventure Centre, said: “Helping corporate groups to get outdoors together for a fun and developmental team challenge, while raising funds for, and learning about, the award-winning and life-changing health and wellbeing programmes DCCT offer; it was a no brainer for Mount Cook Adventure Centre to collaborate on this project.

“We’re looking forward to working together to ensure this fundraiser can quickly become a favourite annual event of trust partners and Marketing Derby Bondholders and raise funds for the trust that will help them to continue making a positive difference to the lives of local people.”
