Serviced office operator Cubo has celebrated its third anniversary by providing a 1,000 doughnuts to its staff and tenants.

Marc and Rebecca Brough, the people behind Cubo, opened their first flex office at the Old Post Office, in Derby, in 2020 despite the challenges of the Covid pandemic.

Since then, the business has opened further sites in Nottingham, Sheffield, Leeds and Birmingham.

And it recently revealed places to open new sites in Edinburgh and Manchester, as well as additional locations in Nottingham and Birmingham.

For now, the firm decided to celebrate its anniversary with those at its existing sites with free doughnuts.

Marc Brough, chief executive of Cubo, said: “Since we opened our first Cubo in Derby three years ago, occupancy levels have exceeded all expectations, with regional, national and global businesses taking advantage of Cubo’s unique offering and the strategic locations of our buildings.

“It was great fun to mark the occasion with 1,000 doughnuts from Project D – there were none left at the end of the day!

“We have exciting plans to almost double our footprint over the coming months and aim to launch in each of those core cities by the summer.”

According to Cubo, the business is currently operating at 95% occupancy.

Its sites offer a choice of workspaces, including hot desking, designated desk, private office, or entire floor.

Member benefits include large communal spaces, private areas, break-out spaces, kitchens, an inclusive barista service with beer on tap, along with a programme of free networking events for members.
