Sustainable tech firm delivers weighty numbers

Sustainable technology solutions firm Circulayo has been reflecting upon a year in which it helped businesses save tens of thousands of kilograms of carbon emissions.

By implementing technology solutions that make reusables practical and scalable, the Derby firm has helped businesses track 10,306 kg of plastic savings and 38,497 kg of carbon emission savings.

These achievements span industries such as hospitality, sports stadiums, and event venues.

Since 2021, Circulayo has used technology and data to support businesses in their waste reduction journeys.

It has been a driving force in creating a circular economy for reusable packaging such as, but not limited to, cleaning product containers, cups, coffee cups, food containers, and transportation tote boxes.

The trio of solutions behind Circulayo’s success are the Flow Platform, AppNostic, and Tap & Return.

The Flow Platform tracks inventory and provides real-time data on the usage, journey and savings, enabling informed decision-making and operational efficiency.

AppNostic allows consumers to view the reusable item’s reuse impact, savings and brand promotions.

Tap & Return sees customers pay a small deposit when they take a reusable item and, when they return it to a designated point, they get their deposit back.
