Sponsorship deal agreed for legends tour competition

Champions (UK) plc has announced its headline sponsorship of the European Senior Masters 2025.

The competition acts as a major date in the annual Legends Tour calendar (as part of the DP World Tour and European Tour), taking place at the Grand Hyatt La Manga Club & Resort.

This year’s edition is set to kick off on Friday 7th November for three days of golfing action.

The company, who had previously acted in an events hosting capacity for the now-titled Champions UK plc European Senior Masters, will carry on its 20+ years’ involvement in the sport with the sponsorship.

This will also add to Champions’ pool of sports partnerships, including the Great Britain Rugby Sevens sides and Leicester City F.C.

Managing Director, Matthew Hayes, who was thrilled to agree a deal with the Legends Tour, said: “We’re incredibly excited to announce our headline sponsorship of the European Senior Masters, a competition we’ve now been involved with for a number of years.

“This partnership perfectly aligns with not only our decades’ worth of involvement in the growth of golf, but also our business ambitions and results-based solutions.

“Although we’ve worked with the Legends Tour and the team at La Manga throughout the past few years, it’s amazing to have our company title aligned with the name of such a prestigious competition.

The tournament offers amateurs the unique opportunity to play, partner with and watch some of the most renowned golfing legends at close quarters.

Previous winners of the Champions UK plc European Senior Masters include former Open Championship victor Paul Lawrie, and former European Tour stars, Patrick Sjöland, Thomas Levet, and Stephen Dodd.

The competition acts as the antepenultimate fixture in the Legends Tour’s annual calendar, which lasts from April to December each year.
