Specialists help crazy golf business expand

A growing chain of adults-only crazy golf venues has opened its latest outlet in Derby with the help of law firm Nelsons and commercial property agents FHP.

The Derby office of Nelsons has been working with Gloryholes for the past 18 months to support the growth of the business.

The location for the Derby site, which is the firm’s fourth, was identified by Oliver Marshall from FHP, who negotiated the terms and got the deal off the ground.

From there, Nelsons was instructed to work on the agreements of the lease, including change of use for the building from retail to hospitality.

Paul Hinchliffe, who heads up the commercial property team at Nelsons’, said: “It’s always interesting to work with unique businesses such as Gloryholes.

“This new venue will provide a great boost to the city scene, and we’ve seen this concept really take off, particularly in locations with large student populations.”
