Serviced apartments firm expands

Serviced apartments firm The Stay Company is expanding across the East Midlands with the launch of a new £2 million development.

The firm, which has its headquarters as well as accommodation in Derby, is to open a location in Nottingham for corporate and leisure guests.

It has taken the lease on Whitefriars House after the completion of a major refurbishment, transforming three levels of the four-storey building into 17 open plan studios, and one- and two-bedroomed luxury apartments.

It takes the total number of The Stay Company serviced apartments to almost 100 across the East Midlands.

Dan Wilkinson, director of The Stay Company, said: “The developers, designers and structural engineers have elegantly extended the rooftop of Whitefriars House, to deliver 17 spacious and luxurious apartments of the highest quality.

“This development has been hugely rewarding and it has been fantastic to watch it take shape.”
