At a recent Marketing Derby Bondholder Breakfast, hosted by the leading independent school, headmaster Mark Semmence gave a presentation outlining the school’s past, present and future.

And in front of more than 100 Bondholders, Mr Semmence shared details of the school’s strategic plan.

At the launch event, which took place in the school’s newly refurbished sports centre, he detailed some of the key elements of the plan.

For example, in terms of academic innovation, Repton plans to embrace the latest advancements in teaching and learning, utilising technology to develop a digital classroom.

Repton is also seeking to strengthen its reputation for producing elite footballers, with the first major project being to develop two 3G football pitches, as well as four padel tennis courts.

Mr Semmence, who is also chief executive of the Repton Group, said: “From the school’s founding in 1557, Repton has delivered an outstanding and broad-based education that has enabled our pupils to thrive in an ever-changing world.

“We continue to strengthen our global position by growing our network of schools, which currently consists of 11 schools around the world, and our comprehensive strategic plan lays out our ambitious plans for the future.”
