Regional recognition for planning consultancy

Planning & Design Practice has been recognised in regional awards recognising the best plans, people and projects.

The firm was ‘Commended’ in the Best Project category at the recent Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) East Midlands Awards for Planning Excellence 2024.

P&DP’s nomination was for the planning consultancy work it carried out for hospitality company Wildhive after it acquired Callow Hall, near Ashbourne.

The firm has since transformed the fading 16-bedroom country house hotel, with P&DP assisting with securing planning permission for a number of distinct elements of the buildings – and the creation of 11 woodland “hives”.

Known as “Wildhives”, they have been created in the ancient woodland adjacent to the hall.
