QUAD announces new chair
A member of the executive team at Rolls-Royce has been appointed as the new chair of the board of trustees at QUAD.
Mark Gregory will take up the position this spring at the centre for art and film, which is a registered charity, after joining the QUAD board at the start of the year.
Mark, who takes over from Brian Martin Walsh, said: “I’m both privileged and excited to become the new chair of QUAD at an ambitious moment for both the charity and the city of Derby.
“QUAD has grown to become a cornerstone of the city’s cultural offer which my family and I have regularly enjoyed as patrons.
“I look forward to working with fellow board members, QUAD staff, Derby City Council, Arts Council England, key partners and, of course, our guests as we work towards a bright future.
“I want to say a huge thank you on behalf of myself and the rest of the board to Brian, who has steered QUAD through unprecedented times during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“His resilience and dedication means he leaves QUAD in a great position.”
