PR firm to offer sustainability communications advice
Nielsen McAllister has launched a range of services to help businesses master their environmental, social and governance (ESG) and sustainability communications.
The new services offered by the PR agency include the development of company-wide sustainability communications strategies and the creation of key documents such as ESG reports.
These new offerings sit alongside the agency’s ongoing work in PR and social media.
Simon Kinnear, a director at Nielsen McAllister, who has recently completed a Specialist Diploma in Sustainability Communications from the Chartered Institute of Public Relations, said: “Customers increasingly expect businesses to have a pathway towards sustainability, and the law is getting even tighter in terms of how ESG is reported.
“On the flipside, it’s easy to fall into the trap of ‘greenwashing’ by making claims that can’t be backed up. We can help companies to get it right.
“We already represent clients in sectors such as packaging and logistics, where sustainability is a critical consideration.
