Outside the box thinking boosts IT firm

IT company Wytech has reported an increase in leads following a collaboration with direct mail gift box firm Colleague Box.

The Ashbourne-based fully managed IT solutions company approached the firm with the goal of reaching out to local companies and making a simple introduction.

Colleague Box worked with Wytech to create a bespoke drink and snacking box, which contained a selection of locally-sourced produce, including beer made by Derby Brewing Company. The boxes were then sent out to potential customers.

Jon Cowley, business development manager at Wytech, who worked with Colleague Box on the project, said: “The response to the Colleague Boxes has been amazing, and we’ve seen three times as many leads generated.

“Colleague Box took care of everything from the box creation, sourcing, packing, presentation, printing, and shipping.

“As well as generating quality leads and connections we were also invited to join a local community meeting, as well as a local business networking group.”
