Name change for commercial insurance firm

Commercial insurance and risk management firm Aston Lark has announced it has changed its name to Howden.

The name change, which took effect at the start of this month, follows a deal that saw Aston Lark taken over by international insurance brokers Howden Group.

The firm became part of Howden Group in April last year with the aim of creating a standout full-service broker.

In a statement, Howden said: “Our presence in Derby runs deep, with our devoted team consistently serving businesses of all types and sizes within the region.

“We take pride in our client-centric approach, and our specialists take the time to truly understand and address the unique needs of all our clients.

“We want to emphasise that our unwavering commitment to Derby remains as strong as ever, and we eagerly anticipate continuing this journey as Howden.”
