Morley Hayes named one of the UK’s top hotels
Morley Hayes has been named as one of the top hotels in UK by one of the world’s biggest travel resources.
The hotel, restaurant and golf complex has been listed in the Top 25 hotels in the UK and Channels by TripAdvisor.
The four-star, 32-bedroom hotel in Main Road, Morley, was ranked 16th in TripAdvisor’s annual Travellers’ Choice Awards, which recognise the best hotels across Britain and the Channel Islands.
It is the only hotel in the Midlands to earn a place in the prestigious Best of the Best Hotels listing.
Morley Hayes was also recommended as a wedding venue and as an ideal base for people wanting to explore the area.
Fourteen of the establishments named in this year’s listing are based in London, with first place going to The Resident in Covent Garden. Taking second place was the Aviator Hampshire in Farnborough.
The Travellers’ Choice Awards Best of the Best title celebrates the highest level of excellence in travel.
It is awarded to establishments that receive a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions from the TripAdvisor community over a 12-month period.
Fewer than 1% of hotels and accommodation achieve this milestone out of eight million listings.
More than 97.5% of visitors to the Morley Hayes Hotel ranked it as either ‘excellent’ or ‘very good’ on TripAdvisor.
Guests praised the venue’s ‘professional and obliging staff’, ‘versatile dining options’, and the ‘beautiful scenery.’
The rooms were noted to be ‘spotlessly clean,’ spacious’ and equipped with ‘comfortable beds and Molton Brown toiletries.’
