Mills complex full again after latest deal
A business-to-business communications provider has relocated to a historic mills complex in Derby.
A1 Comms has agreed to take space at Darley Abbey Mills, which is owned by Patterns Properties.
The firm has agreed to take the first floor of the Long Mills, which is situated at the centre of the mills complex.
The property benefits from an open plan office space, along with two high glazed manager/meeting rooms, a board room, kitchen and toilets.
Graham Bancroft, partner at BB&J Commercial, who agreed the deal, said: “I was delighted to have concluded this transaction on behalf of my client, which once again fills the Darley Abbey Mills development.
“In a time when there is some uncertainty about office space, this letting shows that the office market is still alive and kicking and that with a quality product strong deals can still be agreed.
“To achieve a letting to a great tenant such as A1 Comms who have moved into larger offices than their previous space on Pride Park was a fantastic result.”
