LOBO gets new deal on board

Scaffolding system specialist LOBO Systems has secured a deal to supply its technology to a fleet of diving support vessels.

The Alfreton Road firm has won the orders for its LOBO System from Technip FMC, a leading technology provider to the traditional and new energies industry.

Technip has an international fleet of subsea pipe-laying, diving and construction diving support vessels.

Five Technip FMC vessels are now using a LOBO System as a result of the deal.

The LOBO System, which is an advanced work platform system, has changed how many ship operators manage their on-board working at height systems.

It can be transported and assembled fast and easily from a flat pack, into any required configuration by maintenance engineers – ideal for on-ship maintenance where space is a premium.
