Law firm advises on sale of JCB division

Flint Bishop has successfully advised on the sale of a division of a JCB retailer to a newly established dealership.

The law firm recently advised Gunn JCB on the sale of its Midlands division, which operates principally from depots in Smethwick, Stoke and Hereford, to Midlands JCB.

Paul Hartshorn, managing director of Gunn JCB, said: “This change is an important step in the continued growth of JCB in a region that is set for considerable investment.

“Furthermore, it will enable Gunn JCB, through its remaining six depots, to focus its operations in the North West of England, North Wales, and the Isle of Man and continue to meet the growing needs of our customers in this area.”
