Katapult gets its teeth into dinosaur theme park project
Katapult has revealed it is helping with the expansion of a dinosaur theme park.
The theme park attraction designer is working with ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure, in Norfolk, which is looking to expand the park.
A formal planning application for a new four-acre interactive play-themed parkland within ROARR! Dinosaur Adventure’s existing 85-acre park has been submitted.
Katapult is part of the team of consultants working on the expansion, which would be delivered across three phases and would include new rides, play areas, retail and food and drink outlets.
Co-founder and chief creative officer at Katapult, Phil Higgins said: “We are thrilled to be working with ROARR! to design the vision and master plan for the park expansion.
“It has been a great opportunity for us to bring our experience of working with both global and UK attractions, to design a truly immersive and interactive new land with family fun at its heart.”
Park director Adam Goymour said: “This project has been three years in the planning, and we are hugely excited to finally submit the full extent of our ambitious expansion, which is designed to provide gentle and exhilarating play opportunities for children up to the age of 10.
“We are working with a first-class team of designers and consultants to bring this project to fruition, and the whole team is looking forward to seeing the results of the extensive work which has gone into the project so far.”
