Inspiring staff recognised at awards

Two staff at test and measurement firm Devtank are celebrating success at awards which highlight inspiring individuals in the manufacturing industry.

Erin Delaney, quality and project manager at the Mickleover-based firm, and digital marketing apprentice Anthony Yeomans, were both recognised at The Manufacturer Top 100 Awards.

Erin won the Unsung Hero award, while Anthony was named Digital Transformer and Young Pioneer.

In a statement, award organisers said: “The 100 individuals that are nominated are among the very best UK manufacturing has to offer, and we want to continue to showcase the people who make a truly exceptional contribution to the sector every day.

“They are the driving force behind the country’s manufacturing renaissance, and to understand their individual journeys is to understand why it is truly inspiring to be manufacturing in Britain today.”

The success follows a double win for Devtank at the recent Derbyshire Business Awards, organised by East Midlands Chamber, where the firm scooped the Excellence in Innovation and Apprentice of the Year titles.
