Golf day raises thousands for food charity

A golf day organised by Armsons Barlow has raised thousands of pounds for Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance.
The event, held at Kedleston Park Golf Club, raised £2,700 for the firm’s chosen charity of the year.
It saw 16 teams of four, comprising guests from the business community and Armsons Barlow staff, take part.

Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance aims to help people struggling with food poverty.
Through its 100 Club, it is looking for 100 businesses to donate £100 a month each for 12 months, to help it purchase food for those who need it most.
Jonathan Heath, director of Armsons Barlow, said: “It was great to welcome clients and fellow professionals to this year’s charity golf day.
“We had a lot of fun and more importantly, raised a significant amount of money for Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance.
“We look forward to continuing our support for Derby Food 4 Thought Alliance throughout the year and making a positive impact together.”
