Full house sees Chevin on acquisition trail

Chevin Group, which owns Chevin Homes, has revealed that it finished last year with all its commercial units fully let.

The group owns commercial properties across a number of sectors, including offices, industrial, hospitality and leisure.

Kelly Bacon, commercial manager at Chevin, said: “A couple of our smaller units became vacant recently but the demand is incredible, and the space was soon let. We now have a waiting list of tenants.”

According to the firm, demand for accommodation across all sectors remains high and, as a result, it is now on the acquisition trail for further commercial space.

Kelly said: “We’re now also offering a sale and leaseback proposition where businesses can stay in their existing premises but release cash out by selling their premises and taking a lease back.

“Quite a few businesses have cash tied up in their premises – this allows them to free up that cash while maintaining business as usual.”
