Free events organised to help grow businesses

The Alternative Board has announced a new programme of free events, which aim to help businesses grow.

TAB offers a blend of peer advisory boards, one-to-one coaching, and business growth tools for SMEs in Derby and the East Midlands.

Its programme of free events begins with TAB TALK – Developing Effective Workplace Culture, which will take place on 6 June at Derby County’s pride Park Stadium.

It will be hosted by guest speaker Martin Johnson, head of development at Peaceful Solutions, who will focus on how to unleash the potential of individuals, and organisations to manage and prevent conflict dispute and relationship breakdown.

On the 19 June, experienced TAB facilitators Liz Horsey and Julian Smith will be running an interactive workshop called Building Freedom from Your Business, which help business owners understand how they can build a business that can run without them.

Finally, the inaugural TAB TREK, which takes place on 21 June, offers TAB community members an opportunity to come together for a morning of networking over a relaxed 5km Peak District walk and will take place on Friday June
