Food awareness firm tastes success

The founder of food education and awareness business SimpliciB is celebrating after being recognised in the Business Elite Awards.

Becky Brown has been named Most Dedicated Food Consultant 2024 (Derbyshire) by the awards, which are organised by digital business magazine SME News.

The awards aim to shine a light on SMEs who have excelled in their field, providing the best products and services to clients.

SimpliciB delivers a variety of food workshops to businesses as part of employee wellbeing.

It began during lockdown, using social media to share recipe ideas and help prevent panic buying.

It was from this that Becky realised there was a business opportunity, helping people understand food, buying and eating habits, allowing them to make better choices.

Last year, Becky was shortlisted in the Business Owner/s of the Year category at the National Businesswomen’s Awards.
