Flint’s advise French group on acquisition

Flint Bishop has advised a French-based multinational on its purchase of a UK industrial safety equipment supplier.

The law firm provided legal advice to Altrad, a global leader in the provision of industrial services, on its share purchase of Provincial Safety Services, an industrial safety equipment supplier based in Oldbury, West Midlands.

The advice was led by Martyn Brierley, Flint’s partner and head of corporate and finance, with support from George Ottewell.

Janet Rhodes, head of commercial property at Flint Bishop, provided support on real estate matters.

Martyn said: “We’re delighted to have advised Altrad again on another successful acquisition.

“As a key supplier of work safety wear and apparel, we look forward to watching Provincial Safety Services grow under Altrad’s ownership, where industrial safety is of fundamental importance and embedded in Altrad’s DNA.”
