Flint’s advise aggregates firm on acquisition

Flint Bishop has advised an aggregates firm on its multi-million-pound acquisition of a distributor firm.

The law firm’s corporate and finance team, led by partner Mark Wilcock, has advised Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates on its acquisition of Norwich-based distributor Resins R Us.

The acquisition adds to Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates’ existing network of eight sites across the UK, including its head office and main production facility in Derbyshire.

Sam Buckley, managing director at Derbyshire Specialist Aggregates, said: “We set an almost impossible task for Mark Wilcock and Martyn Brierley from Flint Bishop, along with Janet Rhodes from the wider deals team.

“However, thanks to the commitment from all parties and their above-and-beyond efforts, the deal was completed ahead of the October Budget timeline.”
