Fit-out specialist shortlisted for national award

DSP Interiors has been shortlisted for a national award for a project it has carried out for SureScreen Diagnostics.

The Derby-based design, refurbishment, and fit-out specialist has been shortlisted in the Interior Fit Out category at the national FIS Contractors Awards 2023.

The company has been nominated for the award in recognition of its phase two and three design and fit-out at SureScreen Diagnostics’ new lateral flow production facility.

Over the past two years, the firm has been principal designer and contractor on a range of fit-out projects across SureScreen’s premises in Derby and Nottingham.

Work has included transforming a warehouse into a state-of-the-art production and packing facility.

Established in 2018, the FIS Contractors Awards recognise excellence and innovation in the finishes and interiors sectors and highlight outstanding projects undertaken by FIS members.

DSP has previously enjoyed success at the awards, including winning UK Interior Fit-Out Project of the Year (under £1m) – Gold Award in 2017 and Silver Award in 2018 for its design and fit of Robinson Structures’ headquarters at Eagle Park, in Derby.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on 8 June.
