Firm raises thousands for cancer charity
Medical technology manufacturer Pennine Healthcare has raised thousands of pounds for a cancer charity.
The Derby firm has raised more than £2,000 from a variety of events held during 2024 in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, its chosen the charity for the year.
Over the course of the year, Pennine staff organised and participated in a variety of fundraising activities, including the Derby 10k, a 100-mile bike ride, bake sales, charity raffles and awareness events.
The funds raised will help Prostate Cancer UK in its vital work to fund groundbreaking research, improve treatments, and address inequalities in care for men across the UK.
Graeme Cameron, chief executive at Pennine Healthcare, said: “Here at Pennine, our purpose is to ‘Protect Life. Empower Colleagues. Enrich Communities.’
