Firm bids fond farewell to long-serving projects manager
Business processes firm Document Network Services has paid tribute to one of its long-serving members of staff who is retiring after 20 years’ service.
Tracey Morley, a projects manager at the Pride Park-based firm, joined DNS in 2004.
During her time, she has overseen the admin and accounts team, as well as projects within the business.
Additionally, contacts, personnel processes, procedures and training the team on new software have also fallen under her remit.
After leaving Allestree Woodlands School, Tracey attended Derby College where she completed a secretarial course.
Before joining DNS, her previous roles included working at her parent’s shop, a timber merchants, a bank and even local clubs and bars.
She also worked for Main-Train (now East Midlands Railway) in the finance department.
When Tracey began work at DNS, the firm initially only sold Xerox devices and toners, with a team made up of around five staff.
Today, DNS is still a Xerox Partner, but covers IT services, communications and document management.
Reflecting on her career at DNS, Tracey said: “My role has always been varied. I have never had chance to get bored as there is always lots to do.
“The people at DNS have also played a huge part in me being here all this time.
“I’d like to thank Darren and Jennie for making my time at DNS so interesting and for always showing their appreciation.”

“The business has grown and changed over the years and Tracey has been there every step of the way.
“Her contributions have been instrumental in our success, and we’re honoured to have had her as an integral part of our team for 20 years. Thank you, Tracey.”
To mark her retirement, the DNS team will join Tracey and her family at Morley Hayes for a special celebration.
