Derby schemes shortlisted for regional property awards

A number of Derby projects and Marketing Derby Bondholders have been shortlisted for awards recognising the best of the region’s property sector.

The finalists for the 11 categories, which make up the East Midlands Property Dinner awards, organised by Insider, have been announced.

Wavensmere Homes’ Nightingale Quarter residential scheme is shortlisted for Construction Project of the Year.

And two Derby schemes are shortlisted for the Regeneration and Restoration Project of the Year title.

The Fulton Partnership’s Pepperpot restaurant, which is based at Nightingale Quarter, will be vying for the honour, alongside the neighbouring Castleward regeneration project, which is being delivered by Lovell and Compendium Living.

The Pepperpot is also shortlisted for the Design Excellence Award.

St. Modwen Logistics, which is now known as Indurent, is shortlisted for Developer of the Year while Wavensmere Homes and Grainger Plc will contest the Residential Developer of the Year title.

AtkinsRealis is up for  the Skills and Apprenticeship Scheme Award – and three members of its staff – Lucy Field, Dan Heffernan and Billie Wallace – are shortlisted for Emerging Property Person of the Year. Sam Berry, from The Berry Group is also shortlisted.

AtkinsRealis is also nominated for Client Adviser of the Year.

Three Derby deals are up for Property Deal of the Year. Greggs’ pre-let of a 23-acre plot at SmartParc SEGRO Derby is shortlisted, alongside the forward funding of a 500,000 sq ft warehouse at Infinity Park Derby and the £75 million Friar Gate Goods Yard scheme.

Finally, two Bondholder commercial property agents will be vying for Agent of the Year – Innes England and FHP Property Consultants.
