Derbion welcomes opening of Frasers department store
Derbion has welcomed the official opening of the new Frasers department store at the centre.
The retailer opened the doors to its new store, situated in a unit formerly occupied by Debenhams, earlier this month.
The 127,000 sq ft department store, which is set across three floors, is Frasers’ first location in the East Midlands.
Adam Tamsett, centre director at Derbion, commented: “We’re delighted to announce that Frasers has officially opened at Derbion.
“The all-new Frasers store marks our biggest opening yet and is another amazing addition to the centre after a string of recent successful openings.
“It brings a whole host of brands and experiences to the centre, which we know our shoppers our going to enjoy, and we’re thrilled that the doors are open just in time for Christmas.”
Back in 2021, Derbion announced 200,000 sq ft of deals with the Frasers Group, which included the former Debenhams.
Now, following an extensive refit, the department store has opened for business, selling a collection of the world’s most iconic names across beauty, fashion, lifestyle and childrenswear all under one roof.
The department store’s offering features a diverse mix of brands, including Boss, Tommy Hilfiger, Paul Smith, The North Face and Barbour.
And its beauty hall on the first floor offers a range of concessions on brands including Chanel, Dior and Creed.
To celebrate its opening, Frasers is offering 20% off gifting until Thursday.
The official opening of the Frasers department store rounds off a successful 2022 for Derbion, in terms of attracting new names to the centre.
They include Boux Avenue, 200 Degrees, Søstrene Grene and the brand-new extended H&M store, which includes the arrival of H&M Home.
Adam said: “It’s an incredibly exciting time at Derbion with the opening of Frasers and the arrival of Ted Baker and Burger & Sauce.
“We look forward to revealing more exciting centre news soon.”
