Delight at double award nomination

The owner of Vibrant Accountancy has spoken of her delight after being shortlisted for two leadership awards.

Bev Wakefield, who set up the Lodge Lane firm in 2019, has been shortlisted for Finance Leader and Emerging Entrepreneur Leader at the Business Desk Leadership Awards.

Other women on the shortlist include Precept’s Emma Tice, Ann Bhatti, of Connect Derby and Katy Upton, of Fortitude MSP.

The awards aim to spotlight business leaders across the East Midlands who deliver exceptional client service, offer an innovative approach and show qualities of extraordinary leadership with a positive impact on the region.

Bev said: “I’m delighted to have been shortlisted for these awards. Every category is strong, and it demonstrates the wealth of leaders we have right here in the East Midlands.”

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in Nottingham on Thursday 14 March.
