Cricket club extends charity partnership
Derbyshire County Cricket Club has chosen Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity as its official charity partner for an additional two seasons.
The charity, working closely with University Hospitals of Derby and Burton, supports hospitals in Derby, Derbyshire, and Staffordshire.
Donations received by the charity enable the provision of vital services that go beyond the scope of NHS funding.
Rachael Vowles, head of marketing and stakeholder management at Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity, said: “Our ongoing collaboration with Derbyshire County Cricket Club is very important for us, and we are truly grateful to be named as the charity partner for an additional two seasons.
“The unwavering support we receive from everyone at the club is instrumental in raising awareness about our mission and the positive impact we create within our hospitals.”
Jimmy Drew, commercial manager at the cricket club, said: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Derby and Burton Hospitals Charity.
“The charity came on-board as an official partner back in 2019, and as our relationship continues to grow, we will continue to provide it with the platform and opportunity to help get their name out to our partners and supporters, sharing the fantastic work it does to improve the lives of thousands of people every year.”
