Corrie baddie heads Christmas panto cast
Derby LIVE has revealed the cast for its forthcoming Christmas panto – with a baddie from Coronation Street set to star.
Todd Boyce will be joining the cast of this year’s Derby Arena panto Mother Goose, playing Demon Vanity.
Originally from America, Todd trained at the National Institute of Dramatic Art, in Sydney, Australia.
He has starred in blockbuster films and series including The Crown (Netflix), Sherlock (BBC), Beaver Falls (Channel 4), Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, as well as numerous stage performances.
He is currently portraying the now infamous Stephen Reid in ITV’s Coronation Street.
Derby LIVE and Little Wolf Entertainment have also announced the rest of the cast who are set to star alongside Todd.
Derby’s award-winning panto dame Morgan Brind returns as Mother Goose.
Kristian Cunningham, 2022’s Aladdin and local lad makes his return to Derby Arena’s stage as Benedict.
Nicola Martinus-Smith, who also starred in Aladdin as Princess Amira, returns to the cast line-up as Rosemary.
And Roddy Peters (Norman Ton in Sleeping Beauty) returns to the arena to star as Baron Wasteland.
With spectacular sets, breath-taking special effects, exquisite costumes and mountains of mayhem, the team behind previous smash-hit Derby Arena pantomimes are aiming to make this production the best one yet.
Mother Goose opens at Derby Arena on Friday 8 December.
