Composites firm expands into Derby

A composite components manufacturer has chosen Derby as the place to help realise its growth plans.

Atlas Composite Technologies, which is based in Ilkeston, has secured a deal for an industrial unit in Millennium Way, on Pride Park.

The new premises comprise 30,000 sq ft, which is made up of workshop and office space.

Atlas Composite Technologies is an established UK manufacturer, which makes complex composite components for industry sectors such as aerospace engineering, motorsport, defence, satellite communications and research and development.

The deal for the Pride Park premises was brokered by Salloway Property Consultants.

Marketing Derby and Derby City Council are supporting Atlas’ move to the city having worked with the firm over a number of years.
