Commercial park scheme up for national honours

A new commercial park being built in Derby by St. Modwen Logistics has been shortlisted for a national award.

St. Modwen Park Derby has been named as finalist in the Best Overall Scheme – Multi-Let Industrial Estate category by the Industrial Agents Society Awards.

The new commercial park represents one of the largest regeneration and levelling up projects in the region, comprising 67 acres of brownfield land that has remediated to so far deliver four units, with work on Phase 2 already underway to deliver a further five warehouse spaces.

It has so far attracted companies such as Vaillant and Getinge, with more to be announced soon.

In the same awards, St. Modwen Logistics has also been shortlisted in the Developer of the Year – Logistics category after a stellar year in which the firm delivered 23 practical completions totalling around two million sq ft.

Lee Nash, head of development at St. Modwen Logistics said: “The IAS Awards are one of the biggest nights in the industry calendar and we are incredibly proud to be shortlisted in two categories.

The winners of the IAS Awards will be announced on 26 September.
