City Lab hosts Royal Crown Derby

A new exhibition has started this week at the Derby City Lab showcasing the history of Royal Crown Derby.

Royal Crown Derby Museum has taken over the space in St James Street to tell the story of how the company has been making beautiful porcelain in the city since 1750.

The museum celebrates and shares stories of the people and the products that made the company world famous.

The exhibition starts today and will run until Friday 14 October. On Tuesdays and Fridays, the lab will be open from 10am to 2pm and will be manned by Royal Crown Derby volunteers.

The exhibition will also be open on Wednesdays, from 12pm to 4pm. It will also be open this Thursday, from 2pm to 6pm.
