Charity reveals details of spectacular festive ball

Tickets have gone on sale for a festive ball which will raise vital funds for YMCA Derbyshire.

The YMCA Derbyshire Annual Christmas Ball 2024: A Festive Evening of Glamour and Giving will take place at Derby County’s Pride Park Stadium on Friday 6 December.

Hosted by the High Sheriff of Derbyshire, Ian Morgan OBE, it will include a sparkling reception, a three-course festive banquet and live entertainment.

There will also be a live auction featuring exclusive items and experiences.

All funds raised will support the YMCA’s work with young people and community members at risk of homelessness.

Grace Harrison, director of youth and community at YMCA Derbyshire, said: “We are incredibly excited to host our Annual Christmas Ball once again.

“This event not only provides a great opportunity to celebrate the festive season, but also plays a crucial role in raising funds that directly support the work we are doing to transform lives.

“Every year, we are overwhelmed by the generosity of our attendees, and we look forward to making the 2024 ball our most successful yet.”
