Community Action Derby thanks community lottery players

Community Action Derby has thanked everyone who has so far supported a new community lottery, which has already raised almost £13,000 for local worthy causes.

CAD launched the Derby Community Lottery back in September, a weekly draw which offers players the chance to win up to £25,000 while supporting good causes.

More than 50 good causes have signed up to benefit from the lottery.

In a statement, CAD said: “Community Action Derby would like to say a big thank you to everyone who is supporting a good cause, helping spread the word and playing the lottery each week.

“There are so many amazing, good causes signed up already.”

CAD has now started running a ‘Spotlight On’ feature on its lottery website, to showcase some of the local groups and organisations it supports.
