Bus operator announces route boost

Bus operator trentbarton has announced improvements to one of its most popular Derby routes.
Starting from Sunday 2 March, the frequency of the ‘mickleover’ service is being restored to every seven to eight minutes, with two additional buses joining the fleet.
There will also be timetable tweaks to improve reliability, including on Sundays.
Connecting Mickleover with Derby, the mickleover’s route includes Royal Derby Hospital.

The firm is currently working with Derby City Council to improve access to Royal Derby while hospital car park works are ongoing.
Tom Morgan, trentbarton’s managing director, said: “Some of the enhancements follow suggestions from our driving teams and we always welcome customer feedback too.
“We know that getting from A to B on time and in comfort is what makes our customers happy, so we’re sure they will welcome these improvements.”
