Bus firm’s drivers named best in England

Drivers at trentbarton have been judged by customers as the best in the country, according to a new survey.

They came out top of 55 bus operators in the England-wide survey of more than 35,000 journeys, which was conducted by independent watchdog Transport Focus.

In the Your Bus Journey survey and report, trentbarton drivers were the national number one for satisfaction, with 93% of customers saying they were satisfied or very satisfied with their bus driver.

trentbarton was ranked sixth in the league table for overall journey satisfaction, with 87% of customers saying they were satisfied or very satisfied, just four percentage points off the top spot.

And the bus operator was also in the top 10 for satisfaction in terms of value for money.

Tom Morgan, trentbarton’s managing director, said: “An outstanding driver is what makes an everyday bus journey a great experience, so for our drivers to be the best in the country is a fantastic achievement.”
