Broking group swoops for Aston Lark

Commercial insurance and risk management firm Aston Lark is set to be bought by an international insurance broking group.

Howden Group has announced it has reached an agreement to acquire the firm, which has its Derby office at The Incora County Ground, home of Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

Aston Lark is one of the UK’s leading, independent, specialist complex commercial and private client brokers. The deal is subject to regulatory approval.

The business will be led by a combined management team to optimise client solutions and service.
